Daniel M. Kurkowski



Daniel Kurkowski is a trial lawyer practicing employment law, labor law, civil rights law and criminal defense law. He was formerly a prosecutor and had a stellar trial record. Daniel Kurkowski specializes in the litigation and civil trials of wrongful termination, harassment and sexual harassment, unlawful discrimination (NJLAD), medical leave issues (FMLA and NJFLA), whistleblower retaliation (CEPA), unemployment appeals, disciplinary hearings, and other adverse employment actions in violation of the law. His approach to employment litigation is that you have be both very reasonable and extremely aggressive. Daniel Kurkowski also represents clients in all areas of criminal defense law.

Daniel Kurkowski is a proud member the New Jersey State Bar. He is the former President the Cape May County Bar Association, and also held the titles of Secretary and Treasurer. He is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association. Daniel Kurkowski is the former Prosecutor of the Borough of West Cape May. He currently sits on the Board of Education for West Cape May. He is the former coach for New Jersey Mock Trial state champion Middle Township High School and presently presides as a judge in the mock trial competitions.

Daniel Kurkowski received his law degree from Delaware Law School (formerly known as Widener University School of Law), where he studied primarily civil and criminal trial law, and graduated with honors receiving pro bono distinction. He has studied law at Sydney University Law School in Australia, where he worked directly for the dean of the law school. Daniel Kurkowski was also trained in trial techniques at the National District Attorney Association’s Prosecutors School at the University of South Carolina. He received his undergraduate degree with honors from Drexel University.

Daniel Kurkowski also practices wills and estate planning law, real estate transactions in both a residential and commercial context, personal injury law and general civil litigation and trials.
